Sport recovery and fitness
I do Crossfit, a particular sport that requires hours of training and practice. Since using the oxygen chamber on a weekly basis I have been well and physically better than ever. HBOT has helped me immensely to recover quickly for the next day, the day after that and so on. I can now train with hardly any injuries as well as looking after a family and having full time job.

Tinnitus and knee pain
I had six sessions in the hyperbaric oxygen chamber, which I found very enjoyable and relaxing. I had not really expected to feel any noticeable changes after just six sessions, but after the second session I noticed that the continual pulsing of tinnitus in my left ear had stopped and after six weeks it has not returned. The other huge difference it has made is to my right knee. I had a total knee replacement 16 months ago and had endured constant pain since but after the second session the pain went and my knee has been pain free ever since.

Amazing progress with cancer
I was informed in October 2019 that my aggressive Ovarian Cancer had returned in the pelvis, with lung metastases, and was offered palliative chemotherapy. I was pretty devastated, then a friend told me about the book How To Starve Cancer by Jane McLelland.
The premise of the book is to research your cancer on Pubmed (where the medical community share their research) to find the drivers of your cancer. Then with diet, lifestyle change, and cheap off label drugs, starve the cancer and its fuel lines. Once the cancer cells are weakened, hit them from multiple sides, one of the ways recommended being hyperbaric oxygen. As we all know, oxygen is lethal to cancer cells- indeed in vitro it is used in labs to kill cell cultures. It therefore made perfect sense to me that not only would the hyperbaric chamber be good for the lesions in my lungs but it would also greatly assist me in the coming fight with upregulating all my body tissues - particularly since I was about to begin 6 cycles of chemotherapy.
I decided to hire a chamber for my home use and the technician who installed it for me was amazingly helpful, sending me recipes, encouragement and asking about my progress. I have used the hyperbaric oxygen chamber for one hour every day since installation in January, apart from the first week after chemo when I usually feel dizzy and nauseous.
I am also enrolled at an oncology clinic to obtain the prescribed off label drugs I need and for medical supervision.
I am now half way through the six cycles of chemotherapy and had a CT scan in early April. I received my results April 7th. I was hoping for the cancer to have stayed stable in size or maybe some reduction, but my results were better than that - they were astonishing. The lesions in my lungs were 'resolved' and 'undetectable'. The tumour in my pelvis was also 'resolved' and 'undetectable'.
I am obviously overjoyed. I put my success down to the multi-pathway approach. Starving and weakening the cancer cells through diet and off label drugs, then hitting it hard with a kill phase of chemotherapy. I have used hyperbaric oxygen daily, apart from the week following chemo, since January. The hyperbaric oxygen has I believe also supported my good healthy cells in coping with the rigours of chemo.

Recovery from infection
A 60 year old woman received a routine injection of facial filler hyaluronic acid, which unfortunately led to a severe infection causing vision changes and keratitis, an inflammation of the cornea.
After just one HBOT session of 90 minutes, her vision began to improve and after nine sessions over 10 days, she had completely recovered from the infection and her full vision was restored. This case was the subject of a medical study published in a US scientific journal.
Rugby star's recovery and relaxation
Jonny May plays in the English Premiership for Gloucester Rugby and in England's national rugby team. During Coronavirus lockdowns in 2020, he did not have access to the medical technology and resources available from his Club, so used a hyperbaric oxygen chamber at home to recover from injury and relax.
Calling the chamber his 'sanctuary', he posted on social media:
"With the physical and mental demands of training and playing, a hyperbaric environment allows me to recover far more efficiently, while being able to relax. Spending time in my chamber is an integral part of my daily routine. I'm able to recover faster by getting more oxygen around my body - recovery is performance."
